Below is a list of the current events we support, along with the dates for 2025:
- Brisbane Trail Marathon, 27th April 2025, start/finish Enoggera Reservoir, The Gap
- Pinnacles Classic, 15th June 2025, start/finish Gold Creek Reservoir
- The Guzzler Ultra Marathon, 19th/20th July 2025, start/finish Mt Coot-Tha
- Lake Manchester Trail, 17th August 2025 (TBC), start/finish Lake Manchester
- Mount Glorious Mountain Trail, 9th November 2025, Finish at Maiala Park Mt Glorious

You would not be required to participate in every event. It is solely based on your availability. The number of members required for each event varies. Noting our biggest event is The Guzzler in July that required 22 – 24 members and runs over a 2-day period.
The WICEN event involves manning several safety checkpoints and putting into practice the fine art of radio communication that we all love and enjoy, ensuring all event competitors are safe and accounted for; for example a competitor passes through a manned check point with there bib number being recorded and then relayed back to the base camp by radio for recording on our WICEN software.
The day is a fun and enjoyable time spent with other club members physically and over the radios which at times includes laughter and a bit of banter along with the seriousness of the activity.
Equipment required ranges from a HT or mobile radio setups and can be mix of shared equipment from the different members manning a particular check point.
Also noting, the money the club makes in the form of a donation from the event organises subsidises our annual club membership fees.
